BANDITS is proud to introduce this special edition collaboration with our friends at the Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB)! This beautiful design created by tattoo artist Eternity Fern is inspired by the natural landscape surrounding KAB's homebase in Joshua Tree, CA. Since it's founding in 2000, KAB has spread it's wings and grown into a worldwide force for good, with branches in the U.S. and Europe, plus affiliates in Mexico and Africa. Its trilingual self-check app has reached over 55,000 people and counting across the globe

We met KAB's Co-Founder Shaney Jo Darden a few years ago and we were instantly inspired to create a bandana for this amazing organization. Our team, like most, have close friends a family members that have been affected by breast cancer and we're proud to use this bandana to support the incredible work KAB is doing. $3.00 from every one of these collab bandanas (sale or otherwise) will be donated directly to KAB!

Based in Twentynine Palms, California, artist and illustrator Eternity Fern (Anthony Verstraete), creates folk and tattoo-style illustrations that capture high contrast and composition. Working primarily in gouache on cover paper, Ferns art focuses on animals, vases, and organic material. Using recurring symbols that explore the relationship between nature, humanity, and spirit. His work blends bold lines with organic shapes, drawing inspiration from both tradition and life. Fern’s pieces carry a sense of nostalgia and balance — timeless yet personal, detailed yet grounded. Each illustration feels like a small story from everyday life. Rooted in the folk tradition of tattoo, his work embraces imperfection and the subtle rhythm found in nature’s design and where symmetry meets chaos. A lifelong creative with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, Fern has always been drawn to design and the art of making things by hand. The desert landscape surrounding his home in Twentynine Palms provides constant inspiration — from the stillness of its mornings to the resilience of its wildlife. Through Eternity Fern, Anthony continues to explore how art can preserve small moments of reverence — a way of pausing time to honor the living world. His hope is that each piece invites viewers to slow down, look closer, and rediscover beauty in the natural patterns that surround us every day.

Keep A Breast Foundation

The Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) was founded in 2000 by Shaney jo Darden and Mona Mukherjia-Gehrig to emphasize a key element of breast cancer advocacy that remains often overlooked, even today: prevention and early detection. The 501(c)3 organization takes a radically different approach to breast cancer advocacy, infusing creative expression and community-building with an against-the-status-quo ethos to spur its mission: to reduce breast cancer risk and its impact globally through art, education, prevention, and action.

Starting as a grassroots effort to spark important conversations and action through the never-before-seen breast cast art exhibitions bringing together KAB’s action sports, art and fashion community, KAB evolved into a pioneering nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people to be their own health advocates through lifesaving resources that educate on chest self-checks and why it’s important to #knowyournormal when it comes to your breast health baseline.

Today, KAB operates worldwide, with branches in the U.S. and Europe, plus affiliates in Mexico and Africa. Its trilingual self-check app has reached over 55,000 people and counting across the globe, while more than 10 million “i love boobies!” bracelets sold to support the foundation have helped normalize breast health advocacy since 2004.

Keep A Breast continues to challenge the status quo, promoting prevention as the cure and using art to drive action.
