New York, New York
Like the city itself, the work of artist Mike Perry is eccentric, energetic, colorful, and consistently surprising. Best known for his Emmy-winning animation sequences for Comedy Central’s Broad City, Mike’s prolific work spans nearly all forms of media, and has been featured in publications, galleries, exhibits, and public spaces across the globe. Wildly imaginative and eye catching, Mike’s pieces are as he describes them “love notes to the abstract, unknowable future.” He is uniquely able to infuse a joy into his work that feels missing from, and sorely needed by, our modern condition. To experience Mike’s work is to let go of pretense, to dream uninhibited, and to achieve a level of zero-f*cks-given fun you likely haven’t felt since the playground days.
The National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI)
The National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the United States, and is dedicated to a mission of building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
Mike’s personal connection to this cause stems from his father’s struggles with Schizophrenia and his desire to normalize (and expand) conversations around mental health. We’re honored to partner with Mike to support NAMI’s work to raise awareness, provide education, and advocate for people with mental illness in communities across the country.
